I’m not sure you need to watch the opening ceremony. From the few details that have been released it is going to be mind blowingly cringeworthy.
Yep they just finished a whole segment sort of honouring the National Health Service mixed in with the hospital that initially received the royalties from J M Barrie’s Peter Pan (Great Ormand Street Hospital).
All of the characters in the show have them surrounded by zombie people in the background.
It lost its way in the middle, but the first part - industrialisation and the rings converging - was mind-blowing.
