No not even close. I also read the Freeh report and thought it was written in a factual non-partisan manner. There were many paragraphs written obsolving Paterno in the Freeh report.

My biggest problem with Paterno in regards to Sandusky is that there is no evidence that Paterno nor his superiors ever looked into the well being of the victims. He wrote emails and made phone calls but never asked about the where abouts of the child. That child could be dead for all we know.

Something here doesn't pass the smell test. The DA aided by a child psychologist in the first case finds no evidence to charge??? Why is that Joe's fault??? And then the Board of Trustees that told Joe Paterno to not speak to the press in a news conference hires someone for 6 million dollars to contain the blame and dump as much as possible on Joe Paterno.

I keep hearing from the PSU cult members about how inaccurate that report is.

Yet I have yet to see one specific fact regarding Paterno that is considered not facual.

They know that Paterno KNEW and did nothing to stop the abuse.

So, like liberal always do, they will nibble around the edges to discredit the report (some date will be wrong).

PSU ACCEPTED the report, which they authorized.

Until the Paterno family comes up with a counter report that shows tha Paterno knew NOTHING about what was going on, the report stands as a lasting condemnation of the selfish coward.

I think the Paterno family has as much intention of doing another report as OJ had in finding the 'real' killer
