Ah yes, TAB, sweetened with saccarine so it had that weird chemical wang. I remember a friend’s mom who drank TAB. She’d have the big glass quart bottles sitting on top of the fridge. Now I’m drifting back to 1979 and remembering the soft drink aisles at the grocery store with all the glass bottles, seen from the height of a five year old. I really hope they invent a time machine some day. Would be too cool to go back and see things again.
T@b is great stuff (I drink both T@b and Diet Coke, as well as "Mexican" Coke (made with cane sugar) and Coke Classic (less often) on occasion.
T@b is harder to find where I live. Only some grocery stores carry it. Those Who Know have these places scoped out. I went to my local retailer on Memorial Day Weekend and someone else had beat me to it and cleaned off the shelf. I was able to get a few loose cans from the cooler, however, so I didn't return home empty-handed.
