To: Paradox

As the owner of a large dog which can look ferocious, I understand that if she ever gets out and runs up at someone barking, it would be possible that if that person were armed, great harm could come to my dog, and it might be justified. Sad but thats how it goes.


Same here. As I became rational again, that is exactly how I would (and do) view it. Then again, I am not a fan of 90% of today’s cops. Far too arrogant, for my tastes.

Me, either. I think they are psychologically selected for aggressiveness in their personality and a little time on the job brings out the latent arrogance.

I have long ago resolved that I want no police on my property, ever. I live on 23 acres of isolated woodlands and that makes me think I can pull it off.

Of course, if I find a dead body in my front yard, I will invite them to call, but only after securing my dogs.
