There's just the one item in Danny Vendramini's thesis which I don't buy, which is the claim of Skhul/Kafzeh hominids punc-eeking their way to being Cro Magnons; I share Pye's thesis that hominids were already here when humans GOT here. Other than that, I believe Vendramini's description of Neanderthals is 100% on the money.
