I don’t recall that, I just remember him claiming the dignity of the Ordained and the Graces thereof in a fashion that was, especially in light of his heterodox views, well, offensive.

I specifically recall his being laicized although I don't know the reasons and he never shared them. He was in favor of married priests and once said he would have gone to seminary if married men could. Of course, that's not going to happen in either of our lifetimes.

Most of the posters found him difficult and he had a lot of votes on one of the "most obnoxious posters at FR" threads. I never had any difficulties with him personally.
