If you’re interested as so many strange obsessed people seem to be I said that gay marriage is not my main social issue ... abortion is.
Abortion is a key issue and I was first involved (more politically than I was before) in it - when Francis Schaeffer and C. Everett Koop (Surgeon General under President Reagan) went on their seminars in the US and around the world.
I don’t know if you went to one of those, but I did - in Portland, Oregon. I told my boss I was taking off work for a few days for that seminar, and he said okay. Maybe it was because he was Catholic and I think I told him what it was about. He did want to know why I was absolutely insisting on going to it.
It was about abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. If I remember correctly, I think it was in 1979.
Not your 'main social issue' yet you felt so passionate about it that you deemed it necessary to disparage the entire population of this forum?
I just wanted to say that I am not a homophobe, which seems to be a requirement on Free Republic.
