After being on FR for more than ten years I've finally had enough of the brown shirted fascism censoring valid conservative viewpoints. Enjoy your echo chamber of whining syncophants. I'm off to go help Mitt get elected while you bitch and moan about who is or isn't conservative enough.
Sociopaths don't grow out of it. They get better at lying and manipulating with age.
Really? I can pull up the bill. I believe Reagan was not entirely apprised of how much it would aid in the advancement of abortion, and the regret of it was what galvanized his solid hatred of abortion later.
Name a few.
Hmm, aren’t “valid conservative viewpoints” and “Romney” oxymoronic? Can’t evade history, sorry.
My children will post it after I'm dead.
My good kid will, anyway.
Opi were better back in the day. We had real rants.

YAWN...
You're both being way overly generous. He hardly even wallowed. I give it a 2.
We all know that.
Its rather a wasted effort, I must say.
Reagan did sign the abortion bill in California when he was governor. He later said he regretted it.
OOPS! It should be Obama!
Thanks for pointing that out! LOL
A post must have at least 200 words to even get examined for acceptance into the Opus category. This isnt even little league let alone minor league Opus stuff.
There is no airing of grievences, no naming of posters who have wronged you...and not a single curse word disguised with symbols that sit atop the string of numbers on the keyboard.
This is truly just a goodbye note.
Lets make sure Mitt has a Conservative Congress and Senate! See how he gave in to the Liberals in Mass.-—He will find it easier to cave into the tea Party People in congress! Strange things happen—Maybe Mitt will be a great president? It could happen.
Someone will find your computer and post that you died and your real name and when and where and how. (Who expected cocaine poisoning while doing jumps on a ski-doo?)
Us old farts watch out for each other.

And quit posting...
No FReeper will ever notice.
I've already written a nice opus, praising F.R., to be posted posthumously, by my son, who is also a member. How's that for finality? People won't even be able to tell me not to let the door hit me on the way out, cause I'll already be past that berm beyond which no man returns.
I think you used more words critiqueing the opus than were in the opus. I agree; pretty lame, as opi go.
Regan wasnt not pro abortion.
He did sign a very liberal abrotion law as mu Gov , but like Mitt he switched later. Thats the point NO ONE IS Perfect.
The Therapeutic Abortion Act
Which was to abortion what Medicinal Marijuana is to pot:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1957926/posts
On June 14, 1967, Ronald Reagan signed the Therapeutic Abortion Act, after only six months as California governor.
From a total of 518 legal abortions in California in 1967, the number of abortions would soar to an annual average of 100,000 in the remaining years of Reagans two terms more abortions than in any U.S. state prior to the advent of Roe v. Wade.
Shud be : Reagan was not pro abortion.
