They’re definitely hippies, but is it or is it not illegal to hunt for whale meat? From what the show claims, the Japanese are doing it under the cover of scientific research. So, what’s the deal here?

So even if they are doing something illegal it’s up to the Sea Hippies to right the wrong?

It’s not illegal. And some is done for research purposes as well.

The Sea Shepherds also have tried to shut down traditional whaling operations in the Faroe Islands. (Operation Viking Shores)

These idiots are eco-terrorists.

Dang - I didn’t get to see the Brigitte Bardot in pieces like the Ady Gil. I’m bummed.

I don't like the whaling but I don't like the sea hippies either. I'm rooting for spectacular failure for both, but especially stupid and humiliating failure for the hippies.
