I have the HD in a SATA external now, and I went to boot from external via USB, but I am having a problem telling the computer what to repair in order to use the USB HD connection. I’m running repair right now and the blue light indicates the laptop is communicating with the HD, but I have no idea if it will eventually reconfigure itself to start off the USB HD connection even though I entered that option for booting. Is there a single mega file I should be searching for in the HD files to send the command for that reboot from USB HD connection?
The laptop is kicking up the files on the display and I selected a system file so the laptop is running repair, but I have no idea if it will reconfigure to start properly.
