You want to examine Obama’s NUMIDENT file with the Social Security Administration. When Catholic Social Services of Connecticut filed for Obama’s SSN as his legal custodian, they provide identity documentation to prove Obama, as a Permanent Resident Alien, was entitled to receive a SSN.
The identity documents provided with Obama’s SSN application, Form SS-5, was reviewed and verified by a trained identity document examiner working for the Social Security Administration. Documents reviewed and verified are coded into the NUMIDENT file. A “Y” in the PRA field of the NUMIDENT file indicates “yes” for a Permanent Resident Alien that has been verified.
