D-Day, June 6, 2012

U.S. World War II veteran Clarence "Mac" Evans, 87, from West Virginia, who landed in Normandy on June 6, 1944, with the 29th Infantry Division, walks among the graves at the Colleville American military cemetery in Colleville sur Mer, western France, on June 6, before the start of the ceremony commemorating the 68th anniversary of the D-Day.

May the souls of these brave heroes Rest In Peace

....and our "Commander in Chief" couldn't even take 1/2 hour out of his "busy" day today to honor the lives of over 2,500 American Troops. (He's basking on a beach in San Francisco.)

The brave men and boys who fought, bled and died on the beaches of Normandy shine forever in Youth, Valor and Honor! God Bless them, every one, who answered the Nation's call and hazarded all for Freedom!

Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
