What’s to keep a couple of them playing a little cosmic carom pool and whupping up some major crust and mantle .. It is 2012 ... hmmm

Saw the best meteor in my 65 years a little less than a month ago.
Watched it for approx. 5 seconds and could actually see sparkling debris flaking off of it, never saw that before.
Still impressed with the sighting.
