I forgot to mention, I look at the equipment as a investment I only pay once. It make me sick to have to pay for hazmat for primers and powder but i learned the key to real savings it to buy in bulk. I by powder at 48 pounds and 10,000 primers at at time and most places with waive hazmat fee. I also buy at gun shows or my LGS when they have sales. My latest component stock should hopefully last me through the summer.

Yeah, I guess I've paid my "start up" fees already, might as well stick with it. The next couple thousand will be much cheaper.
If I had to do it over again, I think I'd go with a Lee progressive loader right off the bat, and skip the intermediate steps ("classic" handloader, single-stage, etc.) as well as all the duplicate purchases.
And forget about casting. Hard to compete with the sweet bullets Hornady sells, and real linotype and wheel weights have pretty much gone away.
I need to drop those Midway USA, Cheaper Than Dirt, and J&G sales catalogs in the trash whenever they arrive. Too much temptation in there ;-)
