"The reason I am not on it because it is nonsense. It's only purpose is social."
Post 23 you posted this: " I never said Facebook was 'wrong' I said it had no useful function, it is purely social. "
Then in post 216 you Post this: "No, once again you try to set up a straw man and then accuse me of 'morphing'. What I said that most of what it does is for social chatting. I never said that it is not used in other areas, but that that was not it's primary use. "
Then in post 218 you Post this: "Never said that it was FB ONLY use, but that was it's primary use. "
So now you are just outright lying with undeniable proof you are, staring you in the face on this very thread. Face it dude you are a liar and have no concept on how to construct a logically sound premise.
That doesn't mean that the social refers only to the individual.
You really have a hard time with concepts don't you.
You lose your ability to read and understand English.
Did you ever learn what a synonym is?
A January 2009 Compete.com study ranked Facebook as the most used social networking service by worldwide monthly active users.[8] Entertainment Weekly included the site on its end-of-the-decade “best-of” list, saying, “How on earth did we stalk our exes, remember our co-workers’ birthdays, bug our friends, and play a rousing game of Scrabulous before Facebook?”[9] Critics, such as Facebook Detox, state that Facebook has turned into a national obsession that results in vast amounts of time lost and innately encourages narcissism. Quantcast estimates Facebook has 138.9 million monthly unique U.S. visitors in May 2011.[10] According to Social Media Today, in April 2010 an estimated 41.6% of the U.S. population had a Facebook account.[11] Nevertheless, Facebook’s market growth started to stall in some regions, with the site losing 7 million active users in the United States and Canada in May 2011.[12]

Facebook Detox
Facebook has become an international obsession. We tell ourselves it’s a way to “stay in touch” or to be “social with friends” but, is it? I say it has become an unhealthy obsession that takes away hours out of many people’s day and creates a deep sense of insecurity as we compare ourselves to others. The goal of this blog is to show you that you do not need Facebook, and without it you can thrive! Facebook is, contrary to popular myth, not a necessity.
[ Then in post 218 you Post this:]
"Never said that it was FB ONLY use, but that was it's primary use. "
The 'only use' refers to individual social interaction.
So noting the words I emphasized, you can see that the two comments are totally consistent with one another.
FB is a social media, most of which is involving individuals talking about themselves.
Some of it, a small % is organizational.
That is the part that you want to make a big deal about.
All of it is social, relating to communications.
None of it is crucial.
Clear enough?
Why don't you find the post where I state that that Facebook is ONLY FOR social chatting.
I stated that is it's primary use.
Is that correct or not?
Keep building those strawmen-Sparky.
