1. No one is 'morphing' anything, you are just trying to set up strawmen, since your defense of FB as a REAL value is shot to pieces by the Market. 2. Yes, those on FB would find something else to do

Because a lot of people would be effected, the world wouldn't.

The World has about 6 billion people in it.

3. Never said FB had no use, I said it had no REAL use.

The fact that many people are on FB doesn't prove that it has any real value.

It only shows that it is popular.

4. Never said it was only for entertainment, clearly you either have a hard time reading.

I said it's primary use was entertainment.

The other uses are relatively small in comparison to people simply talking about themselves.

5. You use examples that have nothing to do with the ESSENTIAL value of FB.

That SOME items can get sold on FB doesn't mean anything in comparison to the fact that FB is MOSTLY for individuals to talk about what is going on in their daily lives, things that most people could care about.

Clear enough yet?

Now, you can keep posting the nonsense you want about FB social uses, but that doesn't change the fact that FB is simply a popular social network that means very little in the real world.

And for every positive you list about FB, there is also a negative regarding privacy concerns and to children.

But you keep posting your nonsense, I will be here to refute it with the truth-sparky.

Ahhh The Privacy Boogie man.

Let me give you a wakeup call Sparky. Facebook markets data on what you choose to be interested in (What you like and talk about) this is nothing new. Direct Marketing has been sharing your info for years/ Jc Penny Sears Radio Shack etc. Nothing new. And all this concern that Facebook will share that info with the Gub'ment is really hilarious when you consider that the FEDGOV built into the system the ultimate in Privacy Violation. Its called CALEA (Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act) all ISPs in the USA must be CALEA complient which means ALL info flowing through your ISP account is at the fingertips of the FEDGOV and they can get it for any reason they choose.

Bottom line they don't need Facebook to get your info. They already have it with the flick of a switch.

But hey they can get you to focus on the Privacy Boogie Man so you won't notice they are perusing your info at will. (See, Obummer brokered a deal with the RIAA/MPAA that allows them to have your ISP throttle or Disconnect your account if the RIAA/MPAA "ACCUSES" you of illegal downloading. And they have they right to monitor your account at will.

Hope you got your Wireless Server security set for Mac Address recognition only (and even that can be hacked) because if some Wardriver hacks your Router and downloads it won't be him that loses his account it will be you. But Hey lets all worry whether Facebook is Sharing your info with Wal-Mart cuz yeah THAT IS THE REAL PRIVACY concern.

BTW hacking a Wireless router is about as hard as fixing a flat tire. You just need the proper tools which are FREE on the internet. A few programs and a Wireless Enabled laptop and about an hour of time and you can hack 90% (or more) of the Wireless Networks in the USA.

The RIAA/MPAA knows this and So does the Government. BUT they are now going to monitor everyone's ISP account to see if Illegal downloading is going on on it and punish any such activity. Problem is there is no courts involved You just get punished if the RIAA/MPAA accuses you.

But Facebook is the Real Privacy worry right? hahahaha
