Greatest thing to happen to TV. Getting rid of CSI Miami was a godsend. This program was so full of actors that couldn’t act it was hilarious. Not to mention all the overwhelming mistakes in police procedure that presented itself as legitimate police procedure. Also all the mistakes in sequential events (like radio calls that indicated two or more miscreants and when the police arrive, only one culprit on the scene and no explanation).

My wife and I watched it just to see who could pick out the most mistakes.

I loved it because it was so hilarious. And so overacted. And so randomly plotted. And for the over-the-top way David Caruso delivered his lines. It was funnier that most of the sitcoms, unintentionally but funny nevertheless. Oh, and the wide variety of stereotypes it managed to seize upon. The only thing it lacked was a Trouble with Tribbles episode. Nearly perfect as far as I am concerned, and I will continue to watch the reruns.
