I read “Life”, and surprisingly, despite all of the drugs, Keith comes across as a pretty sharp guy. I think when he appears in public, for the most part, he puts on an act.

I read "Life" too, thinking it would be fuzzy, addled half-memories. But Richards even has a quote at the beginning "Believe it or not I remember it all."

And he does. And he pulls no punches about his drug use.
