Mine was considered severe, so the longer you go, the more it takes to get rid of it.
Good luck.
Our late, greatly missed Golden Retriever, Prior Lake Jake, developed a cataract when he was about four years old. Our vet informed us there was a dog opthamologist (in Edina, naturally.)
The doctor informed us that he could do surgery for $890 and we went ahead.
Jake came home a little woozy with a lamp shade around his neck but recovered completely and lived a long happy life in Prior Lake, MN.
You don’t need to wish me good luck - I’m not having the operation. I never said it “was a piece of cake.” But I’ll stick with my personal experiences - which are all positive - and not try to worry a fellow freeper.
