For more than 40 years the identity of the Zodiac killer has eluded police. Blamed for at least five murders in San Francisco between 1968 and 1969, he taunted detectives and their inability to catch him by sending letters and clues to the local newspaper.
Now a former police officer says he has finally solved the mystery. In a new book Lyndon Lafferty says the killer is a 91-year-old alcoholic man living in northern California. The only catch: Mr Lafferty refuses to name his suspect.
Mr Lafferty claims the killer is now a 91-year-old man living in Solano County but does not identify the alleged killer by name.

I win :)
You sure do.....rimshot!
Alcoholics rarely make it to 91.
Based on my 18+ years of sobriety, almost daily meetings, I observe the end is late 40s to early 50s.
I’ve observed all my old drinking buddies, die by their mid 50s.
That even applies to some that got sober....to late to avoid liver damage.
How about the party in THAT house, huh? LOL
Heck I know where Elvis is living with Jimmy Hendrix and Janet Joplin.
How about the party in THAT house, huh? LOL
Especially with Mama Cass and her pork chops.
I have the 18 minutes of the Nixon tapes, microfilm pictures of the grassy knoll gunmen, and a map in code detailing where Jimmy Hoffa is. Unfortunately, I don’t have a tapedeck, microfilm machine, or code breaker.
Amatuers.
*I* know the identity of the ONLY honest politician in America!
You missed the car engine that gets 200 miles to the gallon.
WE HAVE A WINNER!
I vividly recall the Zodiac Killer. My sister and myself were just kids then (and living far, far from San Francisco)
***I recall it as well. But we lived near SF and the threat was definitely real. The bus driver had us doing duck & cover type drills. There were movies about what to do in case you’re abducted. It started my habit of looking at every single car and remembering its license plate number, if only long enough to write it down in the dirt. This has actually come in handy during a couple of car accidents and other incidents I’ve witnessed.

Oh my. That's absolutely amazing. I can't imagine what it must have been like for you and the other schoolkids at the time. We were way over in the Upper Southeast and we were scared to death!
:’) Yeah, lots of serial killers give it up after a couple of years and retire to a rural area, living to age 91 without ever killing again. They’re really afraid of getting caught. :’D
/bingo
“Hey, Ill tell you where to find Jimmy Hoffa if youll clue me in on Amelia. Maybe we could write a book together.”
Oh they found Jimmy Hoffa. They washed off all of Tammy Fay Bakker’s cosmetics and found him!
Janet Joplin? Janice’s sister? ;-)
Something like this?
Now that’s sandblasting!
