I ran across this rather interesting essay on the blog of author Michael Flynn. It is rather lengthy, but well worth the time to read it. It's about how the State has developed over the last several centuries, and where it might potentially be headed.

Well, no. It was above all a popular movement against socialism/Bolshevism.

They also were against the bourgeois, but that was a secondary obsession.

Fascism was to be the THIRD WAY, neither capitalist nor communist.
