Bristol Palin thinks its laughable that President Barack Obamas children influenced his decision to support same-sex marriage.
While its great to listen to your kids ideas, theres also a time when dads simply need to be dads, Bristol, the eldest daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, wrote in a blog post titled Hail to the Chiefs Malia and Sasha Obama on Thursday.
Obama said on Wednesday that his daughers' acceptance of friends with same-sex parents helped prompt his "change in perspective." In response, Palin writes:
In this case, it wouldve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, thats not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that as great as her friends may be we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids worldview.
In this situation, it was the other way around. I guess we can be glad that Malia and Sasha arent younger, or perhaps todays press conference might have been about appointing Dora the Explorer as Attorney General because of her success in stopping Swiper the Fox.
Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking. In this case, it wouldve been nice if the President wouldve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee.
Swiper would be a massive upgrade. "Oh, man!"
Palin thread...where are pictures? Mom or Bristol will do.
I’m going to say “Amy Carter” right off the bat but I know someone will have already mentioned. Carter refering to Amy’s views on nuclear proliferation destroyed him!
“Those that care nothing for tradition care even less for posterity” -Edmund Burke, Meditations on the Revolution in France.
Yep, that ‘un is gonna leave a mark...
“Glee” is one of the most insidious evils in our culture today. It’s extremely pro-homosexual, targets kids and teens, and does so with a bright, bouncy, innocent-looking/sounding air to it that makes it easily concealed to those who aren’t paying attention. If you tell someone “Glee” strongly promotes cultural degradation, they’ll look at you all funny because all they see are bright colors, fun songs, and witty dialogue.
Sometimes it’s not just the Left. Just a couple of weeks after very effectively slapping the snot out of Obama and the Dems over the Maher misogyny/double-standard on her new blog, here on FR there was a thread about a National Enquirer story claiming Bristol was living with her boyfriend (which she came out and said was an all-out lie). The thread got pulled, but not before the PDS crowd jumped in, believing every word, and started basically calling her a whore! It was pathetic, how easily manipulated some people are.
I suspect in a week or so, after this also-effective piece, there will be another deliberate “hit job” on Bristol by the media.
LOL, I posted the same thing before I read down and saw your post.
“that is unnecessary commenting.”
Then DON’T READ IT.
Wow, Bristol has no fear!
The only conservatives with “balls” these days are women.
Hey! Watch it!
“Rant?”
My God! Can’t these people even write out a shopping list without slipping in an opinion?
Very nicely done Bristol.
I think in time, the Left may come to regret their attacks on the Palins, because clearly, Sarah and Todd are well accomplished in the business of raising formidable young women. Imagine the force of nature that Piper may become...
May God bless and keep the Palin family.
Tatt
now I understand where come from all these decisions
Bristol to Sarah:
“Hey Mom, can I borrow your night-stick for a minute?”
Well, what to say — the GLEE TV show on Fox is pushing too much gayness on everyone.
I would not mind one gay character with a high voice on the show. I would not even mind that Jane Lynch, the bitchy gym instructor is gay in real life.
What I hate is their continously pushing the gay agenda on people.
First, it was the gay kiss, then it was the gay guy getting voted Prom Queen. Then now we have the character Santana Lopez (portrayed by actress Naya Rivera) declaring herself a lesbian And developing of her romantic feelings for her best friend Brittany Pierce.
I’ve QUIT watching the show.
There used to be a time when gay love was “The love that dare not speak its name”.
Now it’s the love that won’t shut the F up!!
