my head is about to explode. xsjunior's class is supposed to go on a writing/lit field trip this friday. fine. they are going to Brookside Gardens and to visit F.Scott Fitzgerald's grave. fine. they are then supposed to have lunch
HERE. um, i think not. i know she will not want to go [haven't spoken to xsjr just got this email from the teacher] and i am trying to formulate exactly what i am going to say to the teacher about this. CLICK on MEET OUR TRIBE. Something along the lines of: Seriously, save the f*ing $ and take sandwiches and go down to OCCUPY DC to show solidarity, you leftwing #@%^.

Since you didn’t ask, Aya Tomic and Kat Hansen are totally doable. But, in regard to your actual message - you’re right. I like the idea of trying to tie in literary eatery. Can’t be too many to pick from. However, this one ain’t worth the cutsie symmetry.

I’m not sure I share your indignation. Looks like a hippie vegan free-range chicken restaurant, but it looks otherwise harmless.

I got distracted by the mention of hot paninis. It’s fun to say too. Also, Langston Hughes is one of the most overrated poets of the century.
