Instead of letting the establishment act like everybody is happy with Mitt Romney, how about if everybody in the remaining primaries votes for Ron Paul in protest?
What is the worst that could happen?
At least Ron Paul is pro-life and wants to get rid of the vile, evil, Marxist income tax.
Mitt Romney is saying a lot of the right things, but talk is cheap for politicians at election time.
It should be ALARMING for conservatives to see how many of Romney's people have been advising the Obama administration!!
If you look at their history, instead of their promises, is Ron Paul better than Romney?
If you want to get rid of 0, either is better. But both are the most flawed candidates that the GOP offered this year.
This moring, Romney is crowing about his support of the auto company bailouts.
I rest my case
Dr Ron Paul is the one...and ONLY choice among a herd of lessor evils...

I hear you - red to red in IL so to speak...
As much as I do like the basic libertarian view on many issues, I’m kinda with Santorum when he said “I don’t believe in *no* government”. I have to part ways with Ron Paul and others when it comes to legalizing harmful drugs, sticking our heads in the sand internationally, and other things.
I think the right combination of common-sense Libertarian and conservative principles would be unstoppable, but that’s sure not Ron Paul. Not that he has a chance against Romney anyhow.
Sadly, here in our state I’m afraid Jokin’ Joe Biden would be a step up from our present state politicians...
...and...the only actual conservative...

Choosing the lesser evil among evils is still choosing evil.
Ron Paul is far better than Romney, but like you say, why vote for any degree of evil when you can vote for Goode instead?

It’s as if they are being spiteful and dismissive to conservatives, and the better they do with independents, the less they worry about trying to even make a pretense of being conservative.
He is NOT a conservative....and he should NOT be called one.

whom do you mean by “we”?
TX, CA, & NJ primaries are upcoming. I ain’t the “we” in there.
PS I couldn’t figure out if this was a vanity or what.
Ron Paul would be an abject world wide disaster...
I am not thrilled about it, but the facts are simple, Romney for good or ill is going to be the Nominee.
Don’t have to like it but do have to accept it.
Now, this leaves in practical effect 2 choices:
1) Continue to attack and bash Romney and undermine him and by those actions help the re election effort of Obama
or
2) Support Romney, begrudgingly and do what we can to ensure his victory and work to hold his feet to the fire after the election.
Reality is, if we continue to attack Romney, justified or not, we help those who are even more an enemy to our cause. Its a crap decision I know, but its the only one that exists this election cycle.
I voted for RP in the NYS primary.
ABO in november.
And that is how its supposed to work. Support your guy in the primary, but come general, you support the candidate, not because you are always thrilled with them, but because the alternative is that much worse.
The internet and its kind.. , in general, evidence as to how we got this way...

If given a choice between Dr. Paul, Mitt or Obama, I’ll have to go with Dr. Paul, even if he is a tinfoil fruitcake.
As someone has pointed out, he can't do it alone, the Congress makes the laws, he either signs or vetoes them.
And if for nothing else, the entertainment value.
