Whether or not Democrats and their labor union allies succeed in recalling Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker next month, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka is ready to declare at least a moral victory.

OOPS. Looks like they did some polling that shows they gotta move the goalposts WAYYYYY back.

Yup. Upon reading the WaPoPuffPiece, it's obvious they will lose and it's obvious they know it.

And so they are busy spinning silk out of sows ears.

Trumka:“We’ll take out Scott Walker.”

Probably not before coronary heart disease pays a visit to Trumka.

If this commie macho man was half as bad as he thinks he is, he’d have a flippin’ REAL JOB. Trumka is nothing but a lazy, two bit punk.

How nice and reasonable he sounds! All in the spirit of compromise, comity, and “can’t we just get along?”
Any wonder why true conservatives can not bridge the chasm between us and these moron liberals with no consciense, and in fact no sense!

I hope all the unions in WI, OH, IL, IN . . . lose and keeping losing ground. Then next the teachers unions. They are far too corrupt. Need scorching.

Trumka should take a lesson from the ‘fat lady’. At least she knows when its her time to sing. Bloated mouth acting a little too prematurely ay? Hope Walker wins in a landslide and gobble$ up wa$ted Union fund$ thrown against him. Now that would be $weet.

Between Wisconsin voting against union thuggery and the Supreme Court overturning the healthcare bill, things are setting up nicely for an Obama defeat..

It's the little things that count.

Unpatriotic Teamsters Hoarding Mounds of Cash

According to an LM-2 report filed earlier this year, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, which represents truck drivers and some school employees, ended 2010 with $108,608,477 in the bank. That’s a whopping 24.9% increase in net assets over 2009, when the union reported $86,942,076 in assets.
In contrast, the Teamsters reported $88,371,439 in liabilities. So if the union could afford to go without any new revenue and still meet its obligations for well over 12 months.
There is a trend in the union’s growing net assets. The Teamsters ended 2009 with $86,942,076 in the bank, according to that year’s LM-2 report. That’s an even more impressive 33.4% increase in net assets over 2008, when the union reported $65,148,734 in assets.

I live in Wisconsin and my sense is the populous is 50/50 on Gov. Walker's performance. The guy is a bit of a prick, not that it bothers me, but it does bother others.

My sense is the populous is 60/40 in favor of Act 10, the law cracking public unions.

My sense is the populous is 70/30 or maybe 80/20 against the concept of recalls, turning the state into a quasi-parliamentary state.

do ya think that the unions have just a little too much power??? They certainly do, and their followers are of the intellectual level that they too might “feel the power”

Well Dick....better check your resources before declaring victory.

There are folks poised to stomp on your fingers, if you should be perceived to over-reach.

I don’t know if the name Lavrenty Beria still sends cold chills up the spines of younger Americans, but in the 1960s-70s it scared the hell out of most of us. He was Stalin’s most ruthless hatchet man. Stalin introduced him to FDR at Yalta as “Our Himmler.” It looks to me like Trumka is trying out for Obama’s American version of the Beria/Himmler role.

To communicate a threat of physical harm to another is a crime...even if you have no intention of acting on that threat.Such a threat made against an elected official may well be a Federal crime. If I'm right I wonder if Trumka’s ever been to Kansas....Leavenworth Kansas?
