Although many people died at Dachau, it was not a death camp. Of those, there were six: Belzec, Treblinka, Sobibor, Chelmo, Maidjaneck, and Birkenau [Auschwitz II].All in the East.

Makes sense, the Germans didn’t want the local populations in the Reich to be able to smell the burning bodies that they would have had to dispose of, that’s why the death camps were located in Poland.
