Hey DD, good to see you. Who woulda guessed that you could just go to an orchard and pick a couple. :)
Hope you enjoyed Dance Like a Chicken Monday.
I have a group of ladies I’m friends with and they call us the Hen House. I thought of that the minute I saw your picture, lol. The Chicken Dance is a lot of fun!
Good evening, Potlatch.

Goodnight, and God Bless.
Happy Tuesday, tomorrow brings my surgery, YEAH, have been chaffing at the bit all week, worrying over repeat fungal infection, and cabin fever. Not use to being confined to house or couch for most of the day. With nothing to do but hard attempts to rehab hand with crochet. Some one is getting prayer shawls this Christmas and I’m using up a back log of yarn. They may not be perfect but they will be warm and made with love.
This one was to cute to pass up, know some one will want to reuse it.
Having two healthy eyes is not enough to see clearly. I know this from experience. After a series of eye surgeries for a torn retina, both eyes could see well but they refused to cooperate with each other. One eye saw things far away and the other saw things close up. But instead of working together, they fought for supremacy. Until I could get new prescription glasses 3 months later, my eyes remained unfocused.
Something similar happens in our view of God. Some people focus better on God when they see Him as close upwhen they think of Him as intimately present in their daily life. Other Christians see God more clearly as far away or far beyond anything we can imagine, ruling the universe in power and majesty.
While people disagree about which view is best, the Bible works like a prescription lens helping us to see that both are correct. King David presents both views in Psalm 145: The Lord is near to all who call upon Him (v.18) and Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable (v.3).
Thankfully, our Father in heaven is near to hear our prayers yet so far above us in power that He can meet every need.
Read: Psalm 145
Hope and pray that all goes well with your surgery tomorrow.
Great message today Rus.
Thank You once again
Thanks every one for their prayers and good wishes. I will be down for at least a week, so might not be on much. I remember all to well the 2 C-sections and Hist after surgery moments, and you don’t feel like moving much.
I think it will go well, she is a very well respected surgeon, bothers to read your records, and side effects records, which most don’t any more.
She is going under the large thin wide stretch mark that is pocketed and the cause of 95% of the infections and remove it. The Hist scar goes 1 inch below that, so don’t know if she will go that low. Hope so. I measured the bulge. 13” across, 6” deep...that is a LOT OF FAT to remove. Scale said 119 this morning. Will see how much I weigh after she takes this huge bulge of fat off. And will trim a little off the hips to make them look natural, not very much as I don’t have much left to take off. LOL
