And what if there was an earthquake or a tornado? What if zombies attacked? What if bank robbers took the child as a hostage? What if a tsunami came and wiped out the whole town? What if Ents came to life and stomped the car?

Playing “What if...” is a straw man, and a silly, annoying one at that.

Well, why be concerned about how long you live him in the car, I mean it isn't likely that zombies will get him.

Playing 'what if' is what responsible parents do and think about worse case scenarios, I mean the infant is only the most important thing in your life, or is running that errand that important.

No one expects a crises, but they do happen, but you can always claim, 'I never expected someone would steal the car'!

Live with that the rest of your life.
