I may be a purist jerk but the Van Hagar phase went unnoticed by me.
It’s Diamond Dave or nothing.
They were becoming hot air play right around the time I was graduating.
Zep is simply ~iconic~.
Back in HS, I’d had Dobes for a long time already and my BGF eventually got one too and at 6am, she’d call the house and and whisper sinisterly into my still half-asleep ear “I’ve got a black dog, too” and then BLAST the song into the phone.
Good thing I loved her dearly.
[and I understood her new found breed-joy as well]
I still wonder though if that didn’t contribute to my hearing problems later in life...LOL
Your “Hey, hey momma” brought back many fond memories of her and those golden years.
Thanks
:)
I had a ‘58 Plymouth Fury, and it would be a total disaster, of course. It wasn’t Christine, but close...
O...M...G!
You did?!?
That’s one of my “Top Ten Before I Die” things.
;D
Really? Goodness! I was 17 at the time, and my dad was trying to keep from giving me his car, so he took me to a used car lot and bought the evil monster for me.
Actually, it was a good thing because I learned how to repair cars, what tools and spare parts to carry, and how to install them, the thing broke down so often.
I hope that you find one in good condition and can take that item off your bucket list. [smiles]
Go check the prices on even the ratted out junkers right now.
That’s gonna be on the bucket list long aftr I’ve ~kicked~ the bucket.....LOL
Well, that’s a shame.
Probably woulda turned on me, anyway.
;D
There were plenty of children who were 'gotten' even in the 60's.
I also know that Southerners are a great deal more careful with their children then you admitted being.
I have no idea what that even means.
Playing 'what if' is what responsible parents do and think about worse case scenarios, I mean the infant is only the most important thing in your life, or is running that errand that important.
No one expects a crises, but they do happen, but you can always claim, 'I never expected someone would steal the car'!
Live with that the rest of your life.
Not where I live.
We didn’t even start locking the doors when we left the house until the mid 70’s.
Then why did you write it in the first place?
I quoted you.
I’m living with a lot of things for the rest of my life, but nothing you have said, believe me.
Most busy bodies do more harm than good, and being one is very, very leftist.
Does it annoy you that you have no control over me?
Live with that for the rest of your life.
You can “what if” yourself right into emotional paralysis...or a straightjacket.
Soo-wheat!! Thank you so much. Bookmarked! A whole song with his regular singing voice. Brought tears to my eyes. I love it.
Gee, we must not have read the same article. I thought I read it was a 4 year old, which is NOT an infant....
my Cousins 4 year old is capable of making his own breakfast. Guess you weren’t that lucky in the gene pool.
give that baby a biscuit!
And you are welcome.
