Not familiar with the local politics. Could anyone answer this question. Is Lugar going down for policy or is it being 80 and still hanging on beyond his expiration date.

“Is Lugar going down for policy or is it being 80 and still hanging on beyond his expiration date.”

Initially, Lugar was being rejected for his willingness to vote with Democrats, including supporting both of Obama’s Supreme Court nominations. But what really damaged Lugar was when it was revealed that he had not lived in Indiana for 30 years and had reported his residence as a house in Indianapolis that he had sold in the late 1970’s.

Lugar is NOT LOCAL. He lives in Virgina. Hasn’t had a home in Indiana for 30 years. He’s a huge RINO. Does that tell u anything about his policies?

One hopes that Lugar is going down for being no more of a Republican than is the Massachusetts mushball. Lugar is more reliable than Romney on the babies while being a very reliable ally of Vladimir Putin and other enemies of our country in his tenure on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on the despicable START Treaty, and on soooo much more. Mourdoch has every appearance of being an actual Republican and an actual conservative. Not only that but, unlike Father Time, Mourdoch actually has a residence in Indiana. Mitch Daniels should be ashamed of himself for endorsing Lugar, a Demonrat in GOP drag. This defection of Daniels, along with his call for a "social issues truce" at CPAC 2011, should NEVER be forgotten.

It is not for nothing that Richard Ligar has been known at various times as Richard Nixon's favorite Mayor, Riochard Nixon's favorite Senator and Barack Obama's favorite Republican Senator, despite stiff competition (Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Lamar Alexander, Bob Corker, Lindsay Graham, John McCain and so many, many others).

Hopefully there will be full coverage of Lugar's tears and flapdoodle on primary night after he has lost.

Lugar has let it be know that he dislikes the TEA Party and what it stands for. He will soon see that his RINO and ‘rat-lite’ positions are not appreciated.
