When I became aware of politics
My very first aperçu of ‘rats
Was to liken them to bolcheviks-
Who just wore different hats

My opinion has not changed-
They’ve got the same old smell-
Of dirty favors and corruption
And a whiff of stuff from hell

Some things really never change
They just change form as required-
Like the shape-shifter in chief
Who still needs to be fired...
