You are probably correct on all counts. However, I do remember Liddy describing seeing another (the only other, as I recall) white prisoner receiving similar treatment in his prison to that described in this article.
Funny you brought that book up. I was reading a thread earlier on Chuck Colsons passing and posted that I read most of the Watergate peoples biographies years ago (I didn't read Deans because he is a lying sack of s) and the only thing that sticks out is the fact that both Colson and Liddy were appalled by the condition of the prison system. They weren't bleeding hearts so they must have had a point. Liddy's experience was far more fun to read as was the whole book. He is one tough, hard core bastard.
