Full title: How would you look after a month with no cosmetics? We challenged one woman to ditch her entire beauty routine. The results were, to say the least, revealing...
I have resolved to forgo make-up entirely

A large part of difference is the attitude and the proximity. The camera is much closer (making her look larger). Her demeanor communicates depression.
Guilty.
That’s right - if she had the same smile on the 2nd photo as she had on the first (and as you said, same size picture) she wouldn’t look that much different. I think this article is geared to sell cosmetics like NuSkin!
Noticed that too - the “after” (or is that really a “before”?) picture looks purposefully as unflattering as is possible.
She’s not smiling after a month.
Women who don't feel pretty get depressed. Depressed women look unattractive. Things spiral.
I disagree. I think she’s cute.
A simple smile would make a world of difference.
Looks like an occupier..
Or if she was carrying a 6 pack and a Hoagie.
A face like an old shoe.
We’d have to find out how she smells before we could brand her as an occupier.
I was once engaged to a real beauty. She used no makeup at all. She did do such things as keep her hair neat, combed and was very clean.
The girl I married was even prettier. She did use some makeup but I always thought she was the most beautiful right after bathing and before putting on any makeup at all.
If she was smiling in the 2nd pic she would look fine and hasn’t she ever heard of nail polish remover?
Why didn’t she remove the nail polish before she started her one month?
Didn’t read the whole post, so is the 2nd picture taken after the month? If so, looks like she’s still wearing the same dress and earrings.
I tried wearing makeup every day like other girls. I think I only made it a week, and that was back in junior high. It took too long to put on and take off, and made my face itch, so I ditched it. Now I only wear chapstick, and sometimes a little lip stain on special occassions, and you know what? Nobody cares.
I’m wondering if some of her skin problems are actually the result of slathering herself with chemicals and powders for so many years.
Hah! Thank you - You made me chuckle out loud for that comment. Recently I started contemplating this question. Decided that I really don’t want to know. I am going to be 65 this summer and will soon have a new boss who’s in her mid-30s. If I ever do get to retire, I may just check it out when the risk of scaring people is lessened. I do agree that those who smile are a lot more attractive than those who don’t, no matter what.
I’d like to see what men would look like after a month without Viagra....now that would really be a letdown...
