read or download for free on the Internet, is absolutely disgusting.
WND still owns the rights to the book, and apparently they've made it very clear to Free Republic how they're work can be displayed. The fact that the book can be read or downloaded online is irrelevant unless WND themselves made it available. The legality of that link is questionable.
If you really think protecting themselves against lawsuits is "disgusting," then go start your own forum where you can post as much copyrighted material as you'd like.
