I wouldn’t take this route. This has already backfired on Axelrod. To continue to throw this out there is not a good idea. Stay on the issues, offer solutions, be the adults. Don’t get pulled into this stupid nonsense - be passionate about saving America from 4 more years of this disaster.
But this is exactly the kind of thing that swings voters.
This is a campaign for the LOW INFORMATION VOTER. You know them. They sit at bars and what not. You ask them if they voted they say “HELL NO”. Why not? “THEIR ALL CROOKS” What about your job? “HELL, AS LONG AS I GET MY WORK COMP CHECK I AM OK”. What about your kids future” “HATE KIDS, NEVER HAD ANY”. Did you know Obama ate dog? “WHAT! MY DOG IS THE ONLY FRIEND I HAVE EVER HAD IN THIS GOD DAMN WORLD AND THAT DAMN OBAMA IS A DOG EATER! WHERE DO I GO TO VOTE”
