Sorry to be Captain Downer, but the fact that the campaigns are barking at one another over this story speaks volumes.

I just can't get excited about what the boy Obama ate. I've seen a fair number of FReepers mention trying dog while in Asia.

Of course, it's a silly issue. So is Obama's basketball brackets. So is Obama inserting himself in every sports event, pop entertainment event, etc. This is a celebrity obsessed, realityTV nation that by and large WANTS to like Obama. His personal approval ratings are still very high (not job approval, personal approval). The Democrats want to change the subject to anything but the economy and once in awhile it is funny when their efforts backfire.

I like horse meat. Americans find that deplorable, but horse and goat were the best gyro’s you could have in Europe. A little ranch, tomato, lettuce, and feta cheese. Yum yum!
