Over in New Guinea ~ in the Indonesian controlled area ~ people are nominally Moslem continue to eat pigs. Same thing in Bosnia.

I know Bosnian Muslims who smoke weed, drink, and eat pork too. When I asked one of them about the drinking, he said “it’s more of a cultural thing”. So, they are probably about as serious about their religion as the average European Catholic or Protestant.
