A UFO, not behaving like a meteor, streaked across the skies of Arizona, causing many to call police. And for a local news team to head out of the studio to investigate. What was it?
In a sign that mainstream media is beginning to pay serious attention to the unidentified flying object phenomenon, local Arizona TV news affiliate ABC15 did a two-minute news segment on the fireball which was reportedly streaking across the sky as the newscast aired live.
Witness photographs and videos were shown on-screen, and this one, showing an irregular flight path of the object, was broadcast. The news team speculated over what the object could be, even calling it a UFO at one point. A camera crew was sent out to the field to catch video of the object and they were successful.

Sorry, I don't know if this requires excerpting, but I did so anyway, so as not to get the Admin Mods PO'd at me.
It was Venus. The fireball seen later was a separate event.
ABC15 is a greater Phoenix area station.
Were it a real UFO fighters aircraft from Luke AFB would have been sent up to 1) get real photos, 2) communicate with it, 3) tell it to land at Luke, and if failing to comply 4)shoot it down.
Ooooooooooooooooo, I like that strobing doo-hicky in that guy’s hand. What is it? I’ve got several red laser pens, but nothing like that.
What’s the difference between a “real UFO” and a “sighting”?
We’ve had thousands of “sightings”, but I don’t remember any “real UFO sightings” where they did any of the 1-4 options and we got any “hard evidence”, unless they’re keeping it all under wraps, like the late “Project Bluebook”.
Just asking, SR.
Looks like my ex-wifes’s... nah, it didn’t have a light. LOL.
I'm like that, too. Once they hurt my feelings and I didn't post for a couple of months, maybe the whole summer.
LOL
I’ve been lucky in the time I’ve been aboard, but there’s no sense in tempting ‘em. Life’s complicated enough, these days.

Tells me that there was no radar or satellite imaging, no signals intelligenge collected hence while there appeared to be something, there was nothing nothing of merit.
Project Blue Book has been officially closed for more than 20+ years.
Have into UFO sightings sharply declining after nuclear testing stopped ( especially above ground testing)?
IB4TQP!
4)shoot it down.
Their shields protect them from anything we have.
LOL
All your cacti are belong to us
No.
They come and go, and don't always get much press, but the phenomenon of folks seeing objects in the sky, apparently flying, that they cannot identify, has been pretty consistent for decades.
