I believe that Zimmerman did everything more or less right: any neighborhood watch member who didn't take notice of somebody in a hoodie traversing his area (watch any recent crime video to see what the criminal was wearing to hide his identity) would be derelict in his duties. Then he called the police and kept them informed as he waited for them to arrive. His only fault was not expecting the assault by Martin. If you are tracking someone who may be a bad guy, you should be prepared for the bad guy to turn on you.
The unspoken truth is that gated communities exist to keep the hoodies out, n'est-ce pas?

Suspicious move. Whereas Crump the attorney says Martin had his hoodie up because it was raining.
