Or how he did against Lieberman. Cheney is literally the smartest guy in the room. One on one, he politely eviscerates his opponents in debates.

I forgot who was interviewing him, Brian Williams? some MSM guy and he asked Cheney about South Africa and apartheid. Cheney calmly explained his position and the Realpolitik of the time. The MSM talking head had absolutely NO response. Priceless deer in the headlights expression.
