Ummm. I have two catz. They don't use their claws. Ever. They learned that not from sweet reason, but from corporeal correction. Use a claw, get a slap. Not liking getting slapped, they stopped using their claws on me.

It's called training. I love them and they love me. It's based on mutual respect reinforced with firm boundries.

NO...that’s cruelty. You don’t need to HIT anything you big bully..... All you have to do is yell...and not even that loud. Never play with your cats using your bare hands either...always have a toy in your hand. I’m willing to bet your cats avoid you whenever possible.
