From what I have read the season won’t start until late 2012 and will have six episodes plus the Christmas special. That probably means late October or early November.

They are obviously gearing up more for the US market. Hardly surprising - its still the biggest one out there, certainly for english speaking audiences - and as has been said numerous times on these threads, there's a marked lack of commpetition at the moment.

However, I'm not so sure about the trailer. They only have clips from about three episodes there, and the gunfighter thing seems to predominate. That worries me a bit. The British are notoriously bad at making westerns. But, Dr Who has a habit of surprising me, so maybe it will all pan out!
