Have you noticed a lot of overhead passes in these playoffs? I just saw Ovechkin receive a perfect flip pass and score on Thomas, a beautiful play. This is a new wrinkle in the game and a challenge for linesmen to judge offside calls.

It’s time to wake up the thread. Sunday was the first time we’d beaten Detroit in the play-offs at the Joe and we did it again tonight, in spite of the officiating and the disallowed goal that should have counted. We play here in Nashville Friday night.
