Is this guy for real? I can’t believe his stupidity.
If he were for real, he wouldn't be a Marxist. What he says is stupid, but I think it's worth our while to bear two things in mind: 1.) he's sticking to the script, and 2.) there are plenty of people who'll gladly believe every stupid thing he says.
Is it stupid to assert the kid's death was the fault of the Koch brothers and capitalism? Yes, of course. That's not merely an illogical, but an anti-logical thing to say.
So? Marxism doesn't rely on logic. It's always been an anti-logical anti-religion. The purpose of Jones' remarks is to keep the pot simmering. He wasn't speaking to us, but the Democratic [sic] party's faithful base: the not very bright, poorly educated people who live on food stamps, welfare, housing assistance, free medical care, legal aid, and all the rest of it. It's not enough for them to go to the polls this November and vote for President Recovery. The Democratic [sic] party needs them to get angry and stay angry, misbehave in public, and generally push up the national anxiety level. If some of them get all wound up and do stupid stuff and get shot, so much the better: another case that looks even remotely like this will generate another fire storm of publicity and racial animosity, and the public will be given another distraction from the Obama Depression.
Remember the law student who demanded free contraception? The "Republican War on Women" was the direct result of it, along with a hate-in against Rush Limbaugh, along with opportunity upon opportunity upon opportunity for representatives of the Democratic [sic] party to step right up and pontificate.
It worked for Lenin. It worked for Mao. It worked for Castro. It's working for Chavez. Why shouldn't it work for the current occupant of the White House? None of it has to be credible: it's just got to stir up the looter class.
