haven't looked but just guessing: euro down on spain issue, dollar stronger relative to it -- ergo gold down and dow down.
it's just algebra.
it's gold is selling off, I'd be inclined to buy it all the way down to where ever.
then, as we saw last year at about this time, there's the “sell in May and walk away” phenomena to be watching for too. April 15th approaching as well. lots of folks needing cash.
