I’ve been fighting for secure borders since well before there was a Minuteman movement.
We don’t lack the ability to secure our borders or enforce our laws. Those who have ruled us in recent decades have simply lacked the will to do so.
I have that will. Should I be elected one of my first acts will be to declare that the condition of the war zone we call our southern border constitutes a clear and present danger to the safety and security of the United States and its people. Out of regard for the sacred constitutional duty to protect the states from invasion, I will then instruct all under my command to act accordingly, in the speediest manner possible.
I would have smashed Iran some time ago, the first time Iranian ordnance was proved to have killed our soldiers in Iraq. If not sooner.
It’s personal. Two soldiers in my son’s unit were among those killed by exactly that sort of ordnance. A third lost his legs.
But even if it wasn’t personal, the CiC has an obligation to make it clear to all aggressors that the price of attacking Americans is higher than they are willing, or able, to pay.
North Korea and Iran must be contained, with a will. Their proliferation of nuclear and missile technology seriously threatens us, and our allies.
