At the height of my weightlifting I was doing 1200 on a hip sled. 4x8. Then I’d back it off to around 800 and do toe-raisers.
Never did get my squats up over 485 though. Go figure...
That was 5-6 years ago now. Time flies.
My best calf raise was <300 lbs. I used a machine that rested on my shoulders and was afraid I’d have vertebral collapse if I lifted too much.
