Thanks! I have a chicken in the crock pot, but it’s been in there two hours now, and is just barely warm. I’ve only had the thing 20 years, so there’s no reason at all why it shouldn’t be working fine....

They really don’t make ‘em the way they used to (chickens, not crockpots. Well, maybe.)
