Tom didn’t particularly like any of the t-shirts at Penney’s, and also, they didn’t have any tan cotton slacks. No wonder their stock price is crashing! I found some at Belk, where they cost more than they would have at Penney’s, but one does what one must.
Elen and Sally (and Tom) found some used books they wanted, and the Book Lady’s standard poodle sniffed Kathleen.
81 and looks like we’ll have thunderstorms again. Cub Scouts and Venture meetings tonight. I drop Tom and Elen at the Venture meeting, take Pat, James, Vlad, Kathleen, and usually Sally to the Cub Scouts, and then pick up Tom and Elen on the way home.

I would love to have a Standard Poodle. Don’t think I can afford one, though! Maybe I should check the local shelters...
Patrick has silly bones...The World of Goo will wait for His Eminence to do the Important Things, like walk Ash!
Hopefully, I will get the Greeky books sent to Pat on payday...they are ready to go. They just await the funds...
There's something to be said for his contention. Have you noticed how loosely attached his patella is?
Be careful examining it. I'm sure it's so painful he won't be able to sit still for it.
Pfeh.
We had T-storms, too. It’s rather comedic that the powers-that-be claim to be able to predict the GW stuff but can’t accurately predict what’s gonna happen the next day.
Not complaining—in the desert, we were delighted when it rained. Our current surroundings would not be so lush and green were it not for the showers. As a former raisin, you have to know how many of us appreciate the rain. Additionally, I get to stay inside. Yahoo!
It’s really tough to walk a dog when you’re having patellar problems. You have to give him credit for creativity.
