Peacocks in your garden? It seems like those would scare off some of the other invaders, at least.

The catz are our biggest problem (after Frank), but they also kill rabbits.

The peacocks and peahens belong to our neighbor. There are six of them and they only meander over once in a while, but he assures us that, once they figure out we have a garden, they’ll savage it unless we take precautions. They aren’t in the least afraid of me. BTW, fed the horse a big bowl of watermelon, his nose got all wet and pink, and he wiped it on my white T-shirt. Next time I wear new napkins, avoiding the horse will be the order of the day.
Mr. Sg wants to run errands but I want to stay in. He’ll probably win by virtue of logic. Le sigh.

We have four cats but won’t allow them outdoors 2ndary to foxes, coyotes, etc. Three small dogs are missing from my three closest neighbors recently. Crowbar the dog comes when called, so we’re a little looser about letting him go into the forest. Did I mention that one of the dogs brought us a gift? (Four foot long snakeskin w/o the snake inside left outside the back gate.)
